Dear valued customers
The time has now arrived where Daaku begins a new chapter. As you will be aware from previous media releases, Ben and Jasmine have decided to move on from their current location at Bells Court in Falmouth. The restaurant will be closing permanently from the 1st of March in order for us to pursue new projects and develop aspects of the business that, due to the commitments of operating as an award winning dining establishment have been on hold. These future plans will be publicised in due course.
We would like to invite our patrons to join us over the next month for the final services in our much loved venue which will be of our takeaway and dine in as usual with our weekly changing menus.
Following our closure of standard service on the 1st March, Ben and Jasmine will be delighted to give Bells Court a glorious send off with a final weekend on the 14th/15th March which will showcase our most popular dishes served to you with our trademark personal touch. The set menu for the weekend (which will accommodate vegan and vegetarian options as well as plenty for the meat eaters) will be priced at £50 per person allowing you all to savour Daaku’s food at its best. Tickets will be on a first come first served basis with more info to follow this week.
We hope that you will be able to share our love of real Indian food in our colourful venue for the final few dining sessions on Fridays and Saturdays over February and our final “goodbye Bell’s Court” party. We will of course continue with our workshops and ticketed dining events over the next year as we establish the new shape of the business. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of you have been part of the success of our restaurant and we look forward to serving you in the future as our plans are realised.

We are a husband and wife team with roots in Cornwall and Rajasthan, India.
Together we have set up DAAKU, where we are the chefs and owners to pursue our passion for Indian cuisine and Cornish produce.
In addition, we run cookery classes, organise feasts and sell high quality spices sourced from India.
Jasmine learnt cooking from a tender age as the chosen ‘sous chef’ in her granny’s kitchen in India. Subsequently, she travelled extensively within India, learning about different regional methods and flavours.
Ben is an award- winning cook and gastronome with an interest in revival of traditional methods of cooking, local and seasonal produce and slow food from around the world.
